Attempting a Zero-Waste Sewing Pattern ✂️ Fail ⇢ Triumph! ✨

Hello everybody! I’ve been wanting to try a zero-waste sewing project for ages, and I finally took the plunge after discovering the book “Zero Waste Patterns” by Birgitta Helmersson. In this video, I attempt to make an A-line, elasticated waist, midi-length linen skirt in black & white gingham… and oh boy, let’s just say it did *not* go to plan 😂 I hope you enjoy watching how I try to salvage this project and ultimately get a skirt I will actually wear out of it, despite multiple trials and tribulations! 😖⇢🥰 🤔 Have you ever made a zero-waste pattern before, and was it successful?
