In this video, I’ll show you how to create a painterly fashion portrait shot against a Mediterranean landscape backdrop by Framatica. Drawing inspiration from Renaissance paintings, I’ll show you how a simple one-light setup and creative color grading can give the final image a soft, painterly feel. I explain how lens choice and aperture help shape the scene, and show you how bouncing light off a wall creates soft, flattering illumination for both the subject and background. These adjustments help bring the portrait and background into a cohesive color palette.
