There are a handful of names on Savile Row that don't just represent tailoring — they represent a moment when everything changed. Edward Sexton is one of them. I sat down with creative director Dominic Sebag Montefiore to understand how a house born out of 1960s rebellion — the house that dressed the Beatles — became one of the most respected names in bespoke. And then I did something I don't get to do nearly enough: I commissioned a suit of my own, and let Dominic and head cutter Joseph Butler push me a little outside my comfort zone in the process. What follows is part history, part masterclass, and part personal journey — from choosing a cloth to standing in front of Joseph as he takes the first measurements and starts shaping a jacket built entirely around me. It's the story of how a suit goes from an idea to something that becomes truly yours, and what happens when you trust someone else's eye over your own instincts.
