OFFICIAL ONLINE https://store.meanswhile.net/ OFFICIAL Instagram https://www.instagram.com/meanswhile/ PRESS RELEASE 2023 Autumn & Winter 　 ～ 2024 Spring & Summer 2020AW、ブランドとしてはじめてのランウェイはコロナの影響で中止となりました。 そのために製作していたショーピースを無駄にしないためにも、翌シーズン2021SSに2020AWと合わせてランウェイを開催しました。 それが私たちのランウェイの原体験でした。 今回も春夏と秋冬、1つの共通したテーマで製作したコレクションを1つのランウェイにて発表致します。 移ろう季節の中、私たちの装いは4つに区切られる訳ではありません。 都市と自然の往来、距離を伴う移動、天候の変化、それぞれの状況に合わせてシームレスに変化するもの。 状況によって、誰かの当たり前は、他の誰かから見ると新鮮に、時には奇異にも映ります。 シーズンを跨ぐことでできる表現を、ファッションとランウェイに包括しました。 今回お越しいただく沢山の方々の目に、それぞれの情景が浮かぶこと、新たな旅を想起することに繋がれば嬉しいです。 --------------------- My first runway show scheduled for 2020AW was cancelled due to the impacts of COVID. Key pieces developed for that show were integrated into the following season’s show, resulting in a runway that combined pieces from both 2021SS and 2020AW. This was my first and formative experience with runways. This season I have decided to carry over that experience, combining SS and AW to create a collection presented under one theme. Changing seasons do not necessarily call for clear delineations in our wardrobe. From city to nature, long-distance travel and changes in weather, I present items that seamlessly adjust to various situations. Various situations that may be obvious to some, when viewed by another may seem new or peculiar. Encompassing fashion and runway, I present a collection that straddles the seasons, and invite all on a journey to experience the evocations that accompany each one.
