Quickly Draft Front Pattern Piece | CAD Pattern Making Tutorial | TUKAtip - TUKAdesign (2013)

After a back pattern piece has been created, it can be used as a starting point to quickly draft a front pattern piece. Use the back piece as a "reference block, " then make the necessary changes to create the front piece. Shape the neckline and armhole for the front pattern piece, then mirror both the front and back to make them symmetrical. NOTE: This lesson was recorded in a legacy version of the TUKAcad software suite for pattern making, grading, and marker making. Some aspects of the interface may be a little different, however we believe the knowledge shared here is valuable for every pattern maker.
