Recreating a $600 Dress From a Thrifted Mumu | Thrift Flip

✨ I recreated a $600 designer-inspired dress using a thrifted mumu! I found this mumu-style dress at the thrift store with a print I loved, and instead of leaving it as-is, I decided to completely transform it into something new. The inspiration came from a $600 dress I found on Pinterest that I absolutely loved. I couldn't justify spending that much on it, so I decided to see if I could recreate the look using a thrifted dress I found for a fraction of the price. In this thrift flip, I take the original mumu and completely remake it into a new dress inspired by the Pinterest original. This project was all about seeing how far I could take a thrifted piece and turning something that felt a little outdated into something I'd actually want to wear. I love finding unique pieces at the thrift store and imagining what they could become, and this one was definitely a transformation!
